Classic redesigned
Despite being in ongoing development, Project Gorgon is currently an MMO with a huge amount of content and promise. The classic fantasy world experience is elevated by a skill system featuring 100 different attributes, a huge game world over repetitive dungeons and a dynamic economy. These improvements over the standard formula highlight both the developer's love of old school MMORPGs and their desire to create a new product. The ongoing work on the game means that many aspects are rough and unfinished. Graphics, while acceptable, are mainly stock textures and cities appear almost empty. Updates appear fairly regularly and the developer team are engaged with the community, resulting in a game which feels like it is improving daily. Project Gorgon is still completely playable in its current state, however.
Huge potential
Project Gorgon is a potentially great game that has a long way to go. MMO fans looking for the next big thing may want to keep an eye on the game as the new twists on the old genre are already extremely promising.
